Neh 2:4-5 The king said to me, "What is it you want?" Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, "If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it."
Joh 14:13-14 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it"
Joh 16:23-27 "In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father."
Heb 7:23-25
Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from
continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent
priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God
through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Eph 6:18-20 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and
with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all
the saints, (19) and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the
opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, (20)
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak
boldly, as I ought to speak.
Phi 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Col 4:2-4 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; (3) praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; (4) that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak.
1Jo 5:14-15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (15) And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
1Jo 5:16-17 If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to
death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin
does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that
he should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not
lead to death.
(venial vs. moral sin - from catholic doctrine). Others believe like Ananias and
Sophira - sudden death from sin. Others, consider this blasphemy against Holy
Spirit Mat 12: Mark 3. A. Begg: "bitter hardened resistance to the truth of God
revealed in Jesus, a recalcitrance to the truth. it's not the magnitude of the
sin that prevents its pardon, it is rather the attitude and disposition of the
sinner. For the sinner refuses to find cleansing and forgiveness in the only
solution that is offered (1 John 1:9)"
